In the afternoon, participants from Hiroshima gathered at Hiroshima Airport. With warm farewells from their families, they departed for Haneda, carrying both excitement and a touch of nervousness as the journey began.
At Haneda, the group was joined by participants from Kanagawa, Osaka, and excitingly for the very first time Okinawa! With some time before the international flight, everyone completed check-in early and enjoyed a light dinner. Although an online orientation had been held in advance, many students were meeting face-to-face for the first time, and a mix of nerves and anticipation filled the air.
At 10:00 p.m., the moment finally arrived. The group boarded the plane and set off for Sydney, where Hiro from Ehon de Eikaiwa was waiting to welcome them. A long flight lay ahead, but the adventure had officially begun.
