Our Sydney Immersion Program has finally begun!
In the afternoon, the students departing from Hiroshima gathered at Hiroshima Airport, ready to begin their journey to Australia.
One of the special things about our program is that it is not open not only to students from our English school ( wokwok ), but also to children and adults from outside the school. Some students already each other, while others were meeting for the very first time!
With their families seeing them off at Hiroshima Airport, it was finally time to say goodbye and begin the journey. There were smiles, excitement, and of course, a few nervous faces as the students took their first big step toward Sydney!
After arriving at Haneda Airport, we had some time before our international flight. The students enjoyed lunch together and relaxed before the next part of the journey. We then met up with another participant from Hyogo, and finally, everyone was together!
