On our final day in Sydney, we had one last session with Wing-sensei to took back on our memories, experiences and growth throughout the program.
Everyone also wrote messages to each other, sharing kind words, special memories and what they had discovered about themselves and their friends during the past two weeks.
After the lesson, we held an award ceremony. Wing-sensei prepared a special gift and personal message for each student, and everyone received a certificate celebrating what they had achieved throughout the program.
It was sad to say goodbye, but everyone was smiling and enjoying their final moments together.
After lunch at the park, we headed to Chinatown for some last-minute shopping.
In the evening, it was finally time to leave the hotel and head to the airport. As always, we heard a few voices saying, "I don't want to go home yet!"
At the airport, after checking in our luggage, it was time to say goodbye to Hiro-san.
We took one last group photo and give him a card filled with messages from everyone - a small thank-you for all the support, experiences and memories we shared together.
